These tests vary in content and style but all evaluate your comprehension of a passage of information, plus your ability to analyse a number of answers and choose the most suitable one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.storyblok.com\/f\/51116\/1847x889\/81657a3052\/16.JPG\" alt=\"Img\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>If your English is a bit rusty, a little bit of practice can really help you improve your skills.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-skills-do-basic-comprehension-tests-assess\">What skills do basic comprehension tests assess?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To pass basic comprehension tests, you have to understand the meaning of the short passage or article under consideration. In the comprehension tests, students are supposed to carefully read and respond to questions. In this article, we look at the top five tips that students can use to pass comprehension tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Our practice test have been designed to help you refresh your comprehension skills so that you can be successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-the-basic-comprehension-test-format\">What is the basic comprehension test format?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">A basic comprehension test \u2013\u00a0such as the\u00a0GRE test\u00a0or\u00a0ieGAT test\u00a0\u2013 is one of the most commonly used\u00a0psychometric tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The English required is generally secondary school level (for age 16). You will typically have between 45 seconds and 2 minutes to answer each questions and so you will need to be well practiced and efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">These questions will require you to demonstrate basic language concepts such as vocabulary, spelling, word association, idioms and metaphors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What are basic comprehension tests?
